Inside Scoup!

Sorry it's been a while since my last post, but I've been really busy. I can't get enough of the married life! I have a wonderful wife (former Miss National City) 2 great puppies (when they are behaving) and a wonderful home.
Speaking of puppies, Lt. Uhura Nyota is having her period, at 7 months! I tried going to Wal-mart to pick up those doggy pampers, but they don't sell them anymore! Well, I decided to get some little panties and preemie clothes for her, until we can find a solution. she's spotting all over! now we have to make sure no male dogs in heat get too close! The Rock is very protective of her too!
Well over the past few months, we have been house shopping, and ugh! its so complicated! we finally find a some houses we like, then they get bought up really quick.We finally we found 3 houses and put in offers right away, one we didn't get an offer back, the second one we were the back up offer, but the 3rd one... well, I will tell you this, it has been a long process...
The 1st house was in Chula Vista, it was a older house, with alot of remodeling done to it,but no garage, and it had a HUGE back yard.
The area seemed nice, but Pendeza wasn't too sure about the neighborhood.
The 2nd house was in Spring Valley,
again a older house, but a nice pool, but the street had a lot of speeding traffic.
The 3rd house, is in Spring Valley. The House we originally went to see, was being fixed up, so we we not impressed,but then on the way back we say a bright pink house that was just put on the market, so we stopped by to check it out. And it had a nice view of the mountains, a pool, 4 bedrooms, a nice big front yard, it was great! So decided we put in our offer right away, and now, we are in escrow! Whahoo! Pray for us!!! The Dogs LOVE the place, they love to run circles in the front yard, then They go in the back yard and potty in the grass! More on the house to come! So stay tuned!
